Do you spend a lot of time and energy on someone else's addiction?

Do you think that you can stop someone from abusing?

Do you think that if the person stops abusing, all your problems will be solved?

Are you looking for hides or other signs that the person is abusing, to confirm your suspicions?

Do your feelings and behavior towards the person change according to his mood or daily form?

Do you have financial problems due to someone else's abuse?

Have you ever lied in order to protect the person who is abusing?

Do you feel anxious about weekends, family holidays or vacations?

Have you declined invitations due to fear of how the person will behave?

Do you sometimes, or often, think it's your fault that the person is abusing?

Do you often feel more angry, sad and despairing than happy?

Does it feel like no one understands your problems, that you can not talk to anyone?

Do you have difficulty with boundaries, you want to say no but you give in to your bad conscience not to help?

If you have answered Yes to more than 6 or more of these questions, you need help - You do not always understand that you are co-dependent. You are busy rescuing others and usually end up  ignoring your own needs.. Both your life and the lives of others are negatively affected by this perpetually ongoing downward spiral.
